Plot Summary: In 2019, a plague transforms the world’s population into vampires. With fewer humans to provide blood, the vampires seek to farm the remaining humans receives an ultimatum by the ruling majority: grow some fangs or give us your blood, and no choice but  to find a way to continue their existence.

After years of sucking the humans population dry, the vampires fear for their future when their source of nourishment dwindles to the point of extinction. Dr. Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke), a hematologist working for a powerful pharmaceutical company, charged by his boss Charles Bromley (Sam Neill) with the task of perfecting a synthetic blood substitution. What happens when a vampire succumbs to blood deprivation? They mutate into hideous, malevolent bat-like creatures known as Subsiders.

For reasons that stem from his transformation into vampire, Dalton refuses to consume human blood. He limits himself to pig blood, but even that’s in short supply. He’s already showing signs of mutating. With the help of others, they will find a way to solve the problems about vampires, and to save the human race.

The Daybeaker movie gives another story how vampires can really exist, like the movie, Twilight, which one of the main cast is also a vampires. But the movie Daybreaker is a story how humans will save themselves from the increasing number of vampires. Will the humans remain humans? Or the world will be the land for the vampires? Watch Daybreaker movie, starring the two-time award nominee, Ethan Hawke as Edward, and will be release on January 8, 2010. The year gets nearer, and the vampires get closer to human’s own existence.
